Publication Integrity and CrossMark Policy
The International Journal of Operations Research and Artificial Intelligence (IJORAI) acknowledges the vital importance of preserving the integrity, transparency, and completeness of the scholarly record. As part of this commitment, IJORAI follows the CrossMark initiative, providing readers with a standardized method to verify the current status of a published document and access authoritative publication metadata.
By clicking the CrossMark icon on any article, readers can confirm whether they are viewing the most recent and reliable version, as well as explore any updates, corrections, or retractions associated with the publication.
Content Permanence:
All content published by IJORAI is archived in trusted digital repositories, ensuring permanent access and preservation. This applies regardless of the peer review outcome, as we are dedicated to maintaining a transparent and accessible scholarly record.
Integrity and Corrections:
In cases where corrections or retractions are necessary, IJORAI adheres to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Retraction Guidelines.
Corrections are issued when a minor part of the article is found to be misleading or inaccurate, but the overall findings remain valid.
Retractions are applied in situations involving major errors, scientific misconduct, plagiarism, redundant publication, or unethical research practices.
Expression of Concern:
When concerns arise about an article's integrity but conclusive evidence is lacking, the editorial board may issue an Expression of Concern to inform readers while further investigation is underway. This approach underscores our dedication to transparency and editorial responsibility.
Change of Authorship:
Authorship changes typically do not require retraction unless the work's scientific validity is compromised. All authorship modifications are handled with careful documentation and oversight, ensuring the scholarly record remains authoritative.
IJORAI is committed to maintaining the trust of researchers, librarians, and readers by upholding the highest standards in publication ethics and long-term content reliability. Our participation in the CrossMark system, combined with rigorous editorial practices, reinforces our dedication to accountability and academic excellence.
